Welcome to the home page of the Groenborg family.

AC Breeding is a small but growing breeding farm situated 45 min. south of Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Soendergaard (meaning the South farm) is the name of our home. We are; Charlotte and Anders Groenborg and our daughters Iris who is 9 years old and Anna 1 1/2.
Soendergaard is an old traditional farm, consisting of a large main house and 3 outbuildings forming a square central courtyard. The farm was built in the 16^th Century and the original owners immigrated to the USA.

At our farm we breed Hanovarian horses based on dressage bloodlines. The mares are turned out every day no matter rain or snow. The youngsters have a mini barn with an open end but choose mainly to stay outdoors. During very hard frost and snowstorms they are brought in. In the summer time all horses live out in big green fields, receiving extra feed and vitamins when needed. In the autumn of their second year all youngsters are x-rayed to make sure, they are OCD free.

Our breeding is based on two mare lines; SPS Flic Flac who is out of an old and very famous German mare line, and SPS Bijou, who was bought at the riding horse Auction in Verden mainly because of her very good mare performance test, her classic blood lines and her results in dressage. In 2004 we have bought 2 new mares. A Brentano II - Weltmeyer and a Weltmeyer-Glücksstern mare. Also we have 2 daughters from Flic Flac who will now join the breeding operation!

All foals are branded with their H and shown at foal shows during the summers.

Foals are also sold in utero (life foal guarantee) or after weaning.
